Palli (Groundnut/Peanut) chutney

This is one of the easiest recipies i have learnt from my maternal aunt who was a bad cook when i was a kid, but now she has mastered the art of easy and tasty cooking(she makes yummy biryani in pressure cooker in a jiffy) She is very multi-talented a classical dancer who knows Bharathanatyam and kuchepudi, she works as a statistical officer for the government of Andhra Pradesh and she is a double Post Graduate, she used to design and stitch beautiful dresses for us
phew the list goes on and on on what she can do..and she is a chutney queen..makes yummy chutneys out of anything :)

Ingredients

Groundnut - 100gms
jeera - 1 tsp
tomatoe(US size) - 1 large (cut into four)
Dried Red chillies - 2 to 3
Tamrind paste - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp

Tempering(Optional)
oil - 4 tsp
Mustard - 1/4 tsp
Jeera(cummin) - 1/4 tsp
curry leaves - 4-6 leaves
Dry Red chilli - 1

Preparation

fry the peanuts/groundnut in a 1-tsp oil and keep a side, in 1/2 tsp oil fry the Jeera and red chillies for 20-30 seconds, in the other half tsp oil, fry the tomatoes for 2 mins
Grind all the above into a smooth paste with little water, tamrind paste and salt heat the oil for tempering add the ingredients and then add it to the chutney (also tastes good without this step)
